What is a Lead in Marketing?


Lead is a potential customer. Leads are users most interested in your product.

For example, you are conducting an advertising campaign and you are interested only in a specific audience. In this ad campaign, you’ve set up targeting for the audience you’re most interested in.

You understand that if you choose a sales goal when creating an advertising campaign, there may be no sales. Therefore, you decided to choose a lead target in which you do not immediately try to sell the product.

The next stage will be the creation of an advertising campaign targeting already collected leads and working with these leads.
