When a user searches for something on the Internet, he enters search queries. Each of these requests has an intent. Usually, the user’s intent can be understood from the search query.
On the Internet, you can find four main types of search queries.
- Navigational
- Informative
- Commercial
- Transactional
Understanding the user’s intent is important for a manager who adjusts advertising in order not to spend the advertising budget on search queries, for example, with the intention of simply getting information. At the stage of obtaining information, there are not many chances that the user will purchase something.
But there are also such short requests that the user’s intention is not clear.
Therefore, I decided to separate them into a separate type: an uncler query type.
I decided to do this because some of them can be potentially useful and work quite effectively, but it is better to add such requests to separate ad groups or even campaigns.
